Rewire Therapy

‘I’m wracked with anxiety now, but I used to be so sure of everything before ****** died’

Clients often tell me that the way they feel about themselves and the world has changed after a bereavement or a loss. The turmoil of the early stages may settle eventually, but these clients feel a lasting change.

This change is often related to anxiety. And that is based on a deep wish to feel safe.

Understandable when you’ve just lived through one of the most cataclysmic changes in your life. A change you had no control over.

We’re made to find patterns in life to recognise safety. When something this big changes we need to start working on creating a huge set of new patterns. A bit like when you first left home.  You had to create a routine to become comfortable.

The difference in this scenario is that it all happens at once and not through choice.

You could do all of this on your own. Feeling your way as you go.

Or you could make the choice to find your way through it with some experienced and knowledgeable support.
